With over two decades of hands-on experience in the mining and earthmoving industry, I’ve seen firsthand the critical role that correctly installed and maintained battery isolation and emergency stop systems play in ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
As a Heavy Vehicle Automotive Electrician by trade, and with a degree in Industrial Technology, I have worked across a range of projects where inconsistent—and often unsafe—installation practices were far too common. Driven by a passion for safety, consistency, and precision, I developed a standardised compliance methodology to ensure every isolation or emergency stop system installed met a consistent, high-quality benchmark. This personal initiative laid the foundation for what is now Isolation Compliance—a business dedicated to inspecting, testing, and certifying the electrical safety systems that operations depend on.
